About

Born in the small town of Russellville, Arkansas, Brock Calvert is trying to determine his place in the world. Progressing from a small boy playing drums on his mother’s pots and pans to a child’s drum set purchased by his grandmother, eventually leading to the realization playing drums is what Brock was destined to do. By the age of 16, Brock was actively participating in the excitement of being a member of different bands. Before joining The Dark From Day One Family, Brock was a crucial part of Cruxx, A Traitor’s Funeral and Judgemental. After exchanging messages with Natal John, Brock was invited to “jam” with the band at their next practice.  As a person who fully believes if you are going to do it, at least have fun with it and convinced that sense of humor is the key to enjoying life, Brock lives every day as it’s a gift. Brock has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many great artists such as; Veil of Maya, Decrepit Birth, and All That Remains. During his 2 years with Dark From Day One, Brock has also guest starred for Scott Stapp, and Pop Evil. Although Brock’s music interest is considered Heavy/Death Metal, he has proven his talents by being able to transform to the Modern Rock style of Dark From Day One.

When Brock’s not attending college or hanging out with his wife Haleigh Allred Calvert, Brock’s interest include music.
