My name is Elias Uribe, I am drummer, producer, musician and composer, I was born on 3rdAugust 2000 in Tlalnepantla de Baz, Mexico State. My family is so musical, and we have a great legacy as musicians. My father was a great pianist, my mother wanted to play the saxophone. I was attending reunions in my church, where I discovered thet my passion was the drums. I saw the drummer of my church and I came to the platform and I played the drumset that was there. My parents saw me and I received my first pair of drumsticks. I started to take drum lessons since I was 6 years old, I am graduated from Conquistando Artes Music School, I studied on Escuela Nacional de Música of UNAM (National Music School of the National Independent University of Mexico.
My teachers were Misael Barrera, who is one of the greatest Mexican drummers, Sergio Tapia, who was a disciple of Dave Weckl, David Ramírez, Mike Johnston, Tommy Igoe and Andrés Vidales. My favourite drummers that inspire me are Vinnie Colaiuta, Thomas Lang, Virgil Donati, Dennis Chambers, Manu Katché, Jojo Mayer, Terry Bozzio, Peter Erskine, Valeria Sepúlveda, Antonio Sánchez, Luis Huerta, Benny Greb, Álvaro López, Chad Smith, Mike Portnoy and Buddy Rich.
I played with bands like The Kermitts Redpoles, The X- Points, Luna Zero, and recently with Jesus Team, we created musical content for teenagers.
I am composer, and I play my own music, I have 3 records which are “When Your Dreams Become Real” (2017), “Sunlight” (2018) and “Art and Beauty” (2018).
I am now an educator, I give drum lessons, drum covers, vlogs and reviews of products on my YouTube Channel and Platform “Drummers y Bateristas Videoblogs.” and "Elijah´s Drum Lessons"
